- Does anyone need to install an app to take part?
- No. The weekend lives on a web page: your friends open it from the link you send, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install and no account to create.
- How are expenses handled when everyone fronts money?
- Every expense is recorded with the person who paid and the people it concerns. Kankwa then works out the refunds while reducing the number of transfers, rather than having everyone pay back everyone.
- Can people join after the link has gone out?
- Yes. The share link never changes: just pass it on to whoever joins the group. They see the chosen date, what is left to bring and where the expenses stand.
- What happens to the data after the weekend?
- It stays in your account for as long as you keep the page, and you can delete it whenever you want. Kankwa is hosted in Europe, with no ads and no data resale; the details are in the privacy policy.
