- Can this page be used to plan a vacation with friends?
- Yes. It covers a multi-day stay: destination, lodging, dates, cars, groceries, activities and daily costs. For a short break, the weekend-with-friends page offers a lighter scope.
- Does Kankwa take a cut of the group's money?
- No, and the difference is fundamental: Kankwa never receives or transfers any money. The tool works out the refunds, and the transfers happen directly between you, however you prefer.
- Can we use a currency other than the euro?
- Yes. You choose the group's currency when you create it, from the common ones or by entering your own unit. Amounts are then displayed in each person's local format.
- What if people do not pay equal shares?
- You can set a custom split: someone with a room to themselves, a couple counting as two, a traveller joining for half the trip. The calculation takes it into account.
- Do travellers need an account to follow the accounts?
- No. They check the expenses from the shared link, with no sign-up. Only the person who creates and runs the group needs an account.
